Installing ColdFusion

Prerequisites:

Microsoft IIS must be installed.

MDAC (newest version).

Windows Service Packs

Run the ColdFusion setup file.

Choose your install language.

Welcome to the Install Wizard for ColdFusion. Click Next…

License Agreement. Read agreement and select accept if you agree. Click Next…

If you don’t have ColdFusion installed install new version otherwise update.

Install as self-contained server. On new installs, ColdFusion should be installed on all IIS websites.

Ready to Install the Program. Start the install process if all settings are complete. Click Install. Depending on if this is an update or new install the options below are the same. Default locations are recommended.

Install Wizard Complete. Installation completed successfully. Make sure to “Launch Configuration Wizard” to finish installation.
